Free money, gifts,and a challenge!
This is from an email from Joshua Bailey, the VP and Director of Finance for the Club Sports Council. It's an opportunity for everyone to show their school spirit, earn money for senior gifts, and have fun!
Next Wednesday, February 29, the club sports council has been challenged to fill 100 seats at the Men's Basketball game against La Salle. Tip-off is at 7 PM so we need all the athletes in their seats by 6:50 PM so we can get an official count. In return GW Spirit Programs will be giving us $200. We will have our own section so everyone will be directed to sit there.
Our plan is to put the money from this event towards a gift for our Club Sports Seniors across all of our teams. This coincides with the Men's Basketball team's Senior Night (and last home game of the season) so we figured that this would be a good theme for the event. So please come out and show you support for some of the Varsity Sports seniors while helping us appreciate our Club Sports Seniors in the future.
If all of you could notify your respective teams that would be much appreciated. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I look forward to seeing all of you at the game next Wednesday.
Sincerely,
Joshua Bailey
VP and Director of Finance, Club Sports Council
Treasurer, Men's Ultimate Frisbee
